Dear Friends of FINDRA,
To say it’s a troubling time is a bit of an understatement right now. Things are very uncertain and changing fast. From a health point of view, we hope you are all doing ok and looking after yourself and your friends and family.
Every Monday at FINDRA HQ, we usually have our marketing meeting to discuss the weekly/monthly plan and strategy. We plan which posts/content we will share, what products we will promote and what our KPI’S are for the week and month ahead.
This Monday didn’t feel like a ‘usual’ Monday it was different. As a team, we discussed the impact of the coronavirus on us personally and also commercially.
It really didn’t feel like ‘business as usual’.
Today, I have taken the decision to close both our Innerleithen and Edinburgh retail shops.
We are still operating online and still selling, so please know that if you do want to purchase something from us then your order will be processed with our usual love and kindness and sent to you as normal. We will continue to function in this way until we feel it’s appropriate to do otherwise.
However we, as a team, also recognise that the world around us is changing and we unanimously decided that for the time being we won’t be sending out sales type emails or pushing products online over the next few days/weeks as we just don’t feel it’s appropriate nor do we have the appetite right now given the circumstances we all find ourselves in.
‘It just doesn’t feel like the right thing to do’.
Instead, we hope to continue to engage with you all and to support each other virtually through what is going to be a very unsettling and worrying time. We hope to do this by sharing posts that are supportive, positive, kind; sometimes funny to lighten the mood and sometimes we will share information about the virus and any advice that’s being issued if it feels right to do so.
We are all in this together so let’s use social media in a positive way to send each other a big virtual hug and a message of kindness, love and support.
