Mountain adventurer, fastpacker, writer and outdoor therapist
Being outdoors, connected with nature is a fundamental part of my life whether that’s walking, running, cycling, kayaking etc. The details aren’t important to me, what matters is being in nature and in touch with the wild part of me that only comes fully to life when I’m outside. As a psychotherapist specialising in outdoor therapy, I am committed to helping other people connect with themselves outdoors too, and I’m particularly interested in the healing power of personal adventure and solitude in nature.
I am a mountain obsessive living on the edge of the Peak District and recently completed the first running traverse of the Dinaric Alps, Bosnia-Herzegovina, solo and self-supported. When I’m not working with individual clients I write for magazines and journals about all things nature, adventure and wellbeing.
