Move comes as outdoor brand FINDRA appoints new digital director
Outdoor clothing specialist FINDRA is set to open its second outlet in Edinburgh following the appointment of a director of digital marketing and ecommerce.
The new retail outlet will trade along with the company’s original store in Innerleithen, which opened in May of last year . FINDRA will also continue to operate pop-up shops across the country.
Launched in 2014 by Alex Feechan , FINDRA began as a specialist in cycling clothing for women. It announced an expansion into menswear earlier this month as it seeks to expand its national presence.
To support this goal, the company has appointed James Abbott as its head of digital marketing and ecommerce. He joins from countrywear specialist A Hume, where he was director of digital strategy and optimisation for the past three years.
“James has a very strong background in digital marketing and ecommerce strategy, and brings with him specific expertise in brand development and strategy for clothing brands,” Feechan said.
“I am thrilled to welcome him to the team and I am confident that his skills, insight and experience will be instrumental in furthering the success of FINDRA.”
Abbott said he was “delighted” to be joining the brand at a key time in its development.
“This role represents a wonderful opportunity to join a company in the early stages of its online marketing and ecommerce journey, and I am looking forward to being able to make my mark by creating digital experiences that support the skills and work of Alex and her team, working with her to build the brand and deliver long-term success for FINDRA,” he said.
