Nick is based in West Yorkshire, between Leeds and manages a country estate called Bramham Park, a traditional farming estate that is also host to the Leeds Festival and Bramham Horse Trials.

Nick has lived at Bramham for just over 12 years with his wife Beth who is a vet in a local village, two boys Rufus and Jasper, dogs Tilly and Lotte, cat Oreo, four ponies and two guinea pigs, Porridge and Crumpet.

Having fallen in love with the outdoors as a child in Wales, his choice of university in Aberdeen was dictated by proximity to the Cairngorms and the local mountaineering club. Other interests involve running, mountain biking, hiking and skiing.
