As we approached the Kendal Mountain Festival (KMFF) season, I found myself reflecting on our journey at FINDRA, the challenges we’ve faced, and the decisions we’ve had to make to ensure the future of our brand.
It’s with a heavy heart that we aren't attending KMFF this year. This decision wasn’t made lightly, and I want to take a moment to acknowledge how much we’ll miss connecting with you, our loyal customers, and the wider outdoor community face-to-face. KMFF has always been a highlight for us - a chance to engage with passionate individuals who share our love for the outdoors and sustainable living. But this year, our path requires a different focus.
The Challenges of the Last Few Years
As a small team, we wear many hats and pour our hearts into every aspect of what we do. But the reality is, we don’t have unlimited resources. Attending events like KMFF involves significant time, money, and planning - all of which must be balanced against our broader goals.
Staying Focused and Moving Forward
Our mission at FINDRA has always been clear: to create stylish, versatile, and sustainable designs that empower women to embrace the outdoors with confidence. That mission hasn’t changed, but staying true to it means being disciplined about where we focus our efforts. This year, we’re prioritising investing in our core business and finding new ways to connect with our community, even if that means stepping back from some of our usual activities.
We know how important it is to keep moving forward, even when the road is rocky. At FINDRA, we believe in resilience - not just in the outdoors, but in life and business. Challenges will come, but it’s how we adapt and respond that defines our journey.
Looking Ahead with Optimism
While we’ll miss being at Kendal this year, this decision is about looking ahead and building a strong foundation for the future. We’re committed to finding new and meaningful ways to engage with you, our incredible community, whether that’s through online channels, collaborations, or events closer to home.
We remain inspired by the support you’ve shown us over the years. Your passion for what we do fuels our determination to keep going, to keep creating, and to keep growing. We’ll be back at KMFF when the time is right, and we can’t wait to see you there.
For now, we ask for your understanding and continued support as we navigate this path forward. To everyone we’ve met at Kendal over the years: thank you for being part of our journey. Your stories, feedback, and enthusiasm remind us why we started FINDRA in the first place.
The future is bright, and we’re excited to continue exploring it together - one step at a time.
