We take time to source and select high quality, durable and sustainable fabrics for our products. In all our garments we choose to work with natural and recycled materials or we repurpose leftover fabrics to ensure we minimise our impact and conserve resources.
We use merino wool throughout our designs to create luxury, durable and sustainable items in clothing and accessories. All of our merino wool is non-mulesed from Australian farms where we can guarantee the highest quality products and ethical standards.
All of our 100% merino and merino stretch range are made in the UK using 3D Knitting Technology that creates zero garment waste.
Merino Stretch: The merino stretch range is made from 96% merino and 4% nylon. This additional material increases the durability and flexibility of the fabric, reinforcing it for use on the hills, trails or wherever your adventures take you.
Merino Lite Range: The Merino Lite Collection is made of 87% merino and 13% nylon to increase the breathability and flexibility of our pieces allowing them to be worn in higher temperatures without compromising on the unique performance qualities of merino wool.
We choose to use lambswool in our accessories range to provide incredible insulation and comfort for beanies, scarves and hot water bottles.
All of our lambswool is from sheep bred, reared, spun and processed in the UK providing an exceptional standard of craftsmanship and comfort with minimal impact on the environment.
P4Dry, is a technical performance fabric which utilises innovative eco-friendly S.Cafe® print that is used on the backing of our Stroma Jackets and Stroma Gilets. S.Cafe is created by mixing repurposed coffee grounds with recycled plastic bottles to create pellets that are formed into a yarn.
This yarn creates a next-to-skin membrane that is water and odour resistant, leaving you feeling fresh, dry and ready to continue your adventures. This material also compliments our merino, working with your base layer to wick sweat away from your body and maintain excellent breathability.
ECONYL is a fabric that uses discarded nylon and turns it back into a usable material. This recycled fabric performs exactly the same way as its original form and can even be recycled again, allowing a completely closed-loop production system where nothing is wasted.
We use ECONYL on our Lena, Burton and Beryl leggings for its stretchy, durable and soft qualities.
Our trail shorts are made from our new lightweight recycled fabric, which has a 4 ways stretch for comfort and ease of movement as well as a water-repellent, breathable, and fast-wicking finish for performance and durability.
