Meet the Founder
I’m Alex Feechan, founder of FINDRA — designer, mother, cyclist and a firm believer in the power of time spent outdoors.
Three things have always shaped my life: family, creativity and movement. Growing up in Scotland’s central belt in the 70s, I still managed to spend most of my childhood outside.
Being outdoors is a non-negotiable for me. It’s never been about distance or speed — it’s about being present, connecting with nature and feeling grounded.
My mum encouraged my love of art and design, and her stories of cycling between Scottish youth hostels sparked my own love of bikes and adventure.
In 2012, standing in a trail-centre shop and thinking “I can do better than this,” the idea for FINDRA was born — to create clothing that helps women feel confident, comfortable and capable outdoors.
Today FINDRA is more than clothing. It’s a community of women who simply want to get out there and get on with it.

Always juggling a million things – from product development to budgets and being an all-round boss. Balances it all with cold water dips and escaping on her bike or in her van.

Loves connecting with the FINDRA community – the best part of the job. A whizz with numbers and analytics. Best ideas arrive outdoors, usually with Cookie the dog.

Phil | Operations Manager
Keeps the wheels turning – making sure stock comes in and goes out, as well as being the creative force behind our reels. Prefers time at home with his cats and chickens to a hike.

Karen keeps every order moving – packed on time, stock in order and the team well fed. She's camera shy, so Merlo steps in for the on-screen appearances.
