Mental Health Awareness Week 2021

Mental Health Awareness Week 2021

Connect with nature and Discover your Outdoor Spirit!

From Monday the 10th of May it’s Mental Health Awareness Week and this year’s theme is ‘Nature’. At FINDRA we are big advocates of outdoor activities and spending time in nature. It’s our belief that even 30 minutes outdoors daily can have a positive impact on our mental health.

Share the joy of nature and the great outdoors

This year to support MHAW we’re encouraging you to take the time to introduce a friend or relative to the joys of the great outdoors. It might be that you know someone who doesn’t normally have the opportunity ability or inclination to be active outdoors but who you know would hugely benefit from all that nature has to offer.

Whether it’s a gentle walk around the local park, a hike up a hill, or just walking to the shops instead of taking the car it really doesn’t matter, spending time outdoors is what counts – and who knows, you may well be the all the inspiration they need to give the great outdoors a try. And if you take a photo while you’re at it, please post on social media using #friendsofFINDRA and #connectwithnature so we can share and inspire others.
