Hello, I’m Alex, the founder of FINDRA. I’m a mum, partner, designer, businesswoman and a passionate advocate of the benefits of getting outside.

For as long as I can remember three main threads have been woven into the fabric of my life; family, creativity, and the outdoors. 

For me, time spent outdoors is essential to my well-being. The positive impact on my mind, body and soul is profound. It doesn’t matter how far or fast I go or how long it takes me, the joy is always from being myself, being in nature and being present. 

I started FINDRA primarily because I wanted to change the status quo within the outdoor clothing industry and challenge the classic  “shrink it and pink it" approach that so many other brands apply to women’s collections. I was inspired and motivated by the amazing women I shared the trails with every weekend and wanted to create clothing that matched their spirit and determination. 

Over the past 9 years, myself and my team have worked hard to build our brand, business and product offering. We are an ambitious company and are looking to expand our product offering, e-commerce team and international presence. 

To do this and achieve our goals, we require additional working capital. Equity Crowdfunding felt like a great way to achieve this, and reaching out to our amazing community through our “Join the Adventure” campaign, felt like a very natural step.
