Women’s Outdoor Clothing
Why Merino is a Great Choice for Women’s Activewear
Merino wool is a sustainable fibre, its unique structure enables it to act as a temperature regulator. This means there is no build-up of bacteria from sweat particles and no bad odours, meaning you can wash it less, making it as good for the planet as it is for you. Our merino wool is soft and lightweight, making it easy to wear and pack.
Layering Merino Wool Activewear
Merino is the perfect material for women’s outdoor clothing, great for layering up in all temperatures. Merino traps tiny pockets of air to help create your own microclimate and doesn’t absorb moisture like other materials.
Base Layers
Perfect for wear as base layers and for warmer days, our women’s Merino-Lite collection is made from lighter-weight merino wool, and now includes Ella Underpants as well as our popular choice of vests. We have a range of mid-weight women’s merino clothing, which can be worn on their own or as part of your layering system.
Outer Layers
Our range of outdoor clothing goes beyond merino base layers though! We’re proud of our range of innovative outer layers – for example, take a look at the award-winning Stroma jacket, made using S-Café recycled material. We use four-way stretch material in our Cora trousers and new Trail Shorts for fantastic comfort and ease of movement when walking or cycling.
A simple layering system will let you enjoy the outdoors for longer, whether you’re hiking, running, cycling or walking the dog. We design and test everything at our HQ in the Scottish Borders, so you can be sure our clothing is ready for the best and worst of the UK weather.
